renovations in 2003 have retained the original heritage charm while
incorporating practical and modern conveniences for the discerning
traveler.

The Atherton Tablelands
is approximately 750m above sea level and is naturally air conditioned
being a few welcoming degrees cooler than the coast. It is just over an
hours scenic drive from Cairns International Airport
via either the Gillies Highway
or Kuranda Range.
A few days at the Blue
House will allow you to appreciate the unique nature of our region - a
volcanic legacy has created outstanding scenery, crater lakes and
waterfalls while surrounding World Heritage Rainforest is home to unique
wildlife.
